The Fort at No. 4

The Fort at No. 4 was originally constructed during King George’s War in the 1740s and garrisoned again during the French and Indian War. It anchored the military road running to Crown Point, making the location a staging area for troops heading north during the Revolution. Today, the reconstructed Fort at No. 4 brings to life the 18th-century Connecticut River Valley.
