Centered around a collection of historic structures, the Old Fort House Museum features one of the oldest wood frame houses in the area. The three-acre campus includes six historic buildings preserved to represent eras of American life from pre-Revolutionary days through World War II, with exhibits including a model of French and Indian War-era Fort Edward and the Solomon Northup room. At its heart is the 1772-1773 home that served as a tavern and headquarters for British and Continental forces during the Revolution.
