Fort Ticonderoga

The site of the first American victory of the Revolutionary War on May 10th, 1775, Fort Ticonderoga is one of America’s most historic landscapes. The Revolution prompted extensive additions to early French, and changed hands twice during the course of the War for Independence. The restored fort is brought to life by a vibrant living history program, exhibitions of one of North America’s richest collection of Revolutionary artifacts, trails across the extensive grounds, and boat tours on Lake Champlain that bring to life the Revolution in the context of 18th century military history.
