Albany Institute of History and Art

Founded in 1791, the Albany Institute of History and Art is the oldest museum in New York and celebrates the art, history, and culture of the Hudson Valley and beyond. In addition to changing exhibitions and contemporary art, the Institute holds a rich collection of Colonial and Revolutionary-era art and artifacts.
