Akwesasne Cultural Center

The Akwesasne Cultural Center is dedicated to preserving the history and education of the Mohawk and Haudenosaunee culture. The library has a Native American collection that is one of the largest in Northern New York with over 3,500 volumes. The museum is dedicated to sharing the knowledge and understanding of the Akwesasne Mohawk and its history. The Art Gallery Showcases a new indigenous artist every month. The Sweetgrass Giftshop is committed to the authenticity of Native made products including traditional Mohawk black ash basketry.
