The Commemoration of the 250th Anniversary of Independence Day

Commemorate the 250th anniversary of our nation’s Independence Day on July 4 with Lake Champlain Maritime Museum. Throughout the day we’ll have hands-on activities, kids’ games, documentary screening, tours of our new exhibit, Fragments: Voices of the American Revolution on Lake Champlain, and more!

10:30 AM: Reading of the Declaration of Independence
11:00 AM: Tour of the exhibit Fragments: Voices of the American Revolution on Lake Champlain
11:00 AM–3:00 PM: Hands-on educational activities for all ages
1:00 PM: Tour of the exhibit Fragments: Voices of the American Revolution on Lake Champlain
2:00 PM: Screening of segments from Ken Burns’ The American Revolution documentary
3:00 PM: Tour of the exhibit Fragments: Voices of the American Revolution on Lake Champlain
Independence Day programs and activities are free to attend for all ages, no registration required. Food will be available for purchase in collaboration with Viva El Sabor.
